1 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter
1 c Flour; sifted
1 ts Baking powder
1 pn Salt
2 Eggs
12 Plums; halved (24 halves) p
Sugar, lemon juice; cinnamon
Preheat oven Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Batter will rise and cover plums.
Remove and cool, To serve frozen tortes, defrost and reheat briefly at 300F.
